Senior sessions are always special, but Zoey’s session was an absolute standout. As a senior from York, PA, Zoey brought her vibrant personality to life in not one, but two parts! We wanted to capture all the layers that make Zoey who she is, and I’m so thrilled with how beautifully it all came together.
We kicked off her session at the stunning Wildflower Lookout in Ronks. Zoey arrived looking gorgeous in a flowy dress, with her feline sidekick, Tuna, in tow! The day was perfect for photos, with just a hint of a rain threat lingering, but the sun stayed out long enough for us to create some magic. The colorful wildflower backdrop paired perfectly with Zoey’s elegance, and having her cat by her side added such a sweet personal touch.
For part two of Zoey’s session, we switched things up and met at her high school, where her love of music truly shines. Zoey is not only talented but also incredibly creative, playing both the piano and soprano clarinet in her school’s marching band. She wanted a darker, moodier vibe for these shots, and as luck would have it, the remnants of Hurricane Debby brought rain. We took cover inside the school’s performing arts center, where the soft lighting and dramatic atmosphere provided the perfect setting to match Zoey’s vision. The indoor environment felt so fitting for her musical side, and it was a fun challenge for me to capture her essence in a space where she spends so much of her time.
When Zoey’s not immersed in her music, she’s often found reading, drawing, and dreaming about her future, possibly pursuing nursing or marine biology after high school. It’s inspiring to see such a passionate and driven young woman getting ready to take on the world.
I’m so honored to have been part of Zoey’s senior experience. This session was a beautiful reminder of how unique every senior’s story is, and I loved the chance to showcase both the graceful, nature-loving side of Zoey, as well as her artistic and musical talents.
