This August, I had the privilege of hosting my first-ever Panda Personality Mini Sessions at the beautiful all-white studio at SUPPLY in Manheim, PA. The space was truly a photographer’s dream, with great big windows flooding the room with natural light and a blank canvas that allowed each personality to shine.
The goal of these sessions was simple: to celebrate individuality and create portraits that let kids be unapologetically themselves. There’s something invigorating about letting kids just be—watching their personalities come alive in front of the camera and capturing those genuine moments of joy, curiosity, and mischief. Parents even joined in for headshots, creating a gallery of memories full of life and love.
These sessions were about more than just photography; they were about community. Amanda "Panda" Hoffert was one of the most vibrant people I’ve ever known, and her passing left a void in our hearts. To honor her legacy, I pledged a portion of the proceeds from these sessions to #HoffertStrong, raising over $300 to support her family. The response from our community was overwhelming, and I hope to make this an annual offering to keep her memory alive.
Reflecting on this day, I’m reminded of why I love what I do. Photography is about so much more than pictures; it’s about preserving legacies, capturing connections, and celebrating life.
